BioCell Protect contains Japanese knotweed, a source of resveratrol. Selenium, zinc and resveratrol are antioxidants that reduce free radicals formed in the body. Zinc and selenium also aid in the maintenance of healthy immune system function. Zinc assists in the metabolism of macronutrients

It includes antioxidant phytochemicals that have been shown in preliminary in vitro studies to upregulate the Nrf2 transcription factor which is associated with the production of endogenous antioxidant enzymes. Nrf2 activation has also been linked to decreased NFkB production, providing an anti-inflammatory effect.

   std. to catechins 103.75 mg
   contains caffeine 625 micrograms
Reynoutria japonica (Japanese knotweed) 100 mg
   min. equiv. to dry 10 g
std. to resveratrol 50 mg

Herbal extracts dry concentrate:
Brassica oleracea var. italica (broccoli) sprout 125 micrograms
   min. equiv. to dry 3.75 mg

Nutrients:
Curcumin (from Theracurmin) 5 mg
Quercetin dihydrate 125 mg
Alpha-lipoic acid (R,S form) 4 mg
Selenium (as selenomethionine) 7.5 micrograms

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Adults: Take 1 tablet three times daily or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

WARNINGS
This product contains selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150mcg for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded. The recommended dose of this medicine provides small amounts of caffeine.
