present as 90% Trichloro-Iso-Cyanurate.
Recommended use : ideal as a daily sanitizer – but without the chore of daily application due to their slow chlorine release. Placed periodically either in a skimmer box or in a dedicated automatic in-line feeder, the tablets dissolve slowly over a period of time for lasting effect.
Description: Poolgard are stabilized dry chlorine in tablet form. As you’d expect from us, our tablets have the typical characteristics of a very high purity tablet ; very white, very hard, and a very smooth surface.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Caution: Tri-tabs are a strong oxidant.
Never allow Tri-tabs to come into contact with other chemicals.
Never allow Tri-tabs to come into direct contact with the pool surface (bleaching can occur).
Never add any other chemicals directly to the skimmer box when Tri-tabs are present. A dangerous chemical reaction could occur.
Dosage: One Tri-tab per 45,000L every 4-5 days.
It is preferable to use an automatic in-line feeder for controlled dosing. Alternatively, the tablets can be placed in skimmer basket, but be aware that when using this method, on start up of pump, high chlorine concentration levels can lead to corrosion of the pump over time.
As Tri-tabs are acidic, test pH levels regularly and adjust. When using Tri-tabs, pH tends to fall.
